Ingredients
-
25 ml Crème de Cassis liqueur
-
100 ml dry white wine
Directions
‘Cyrus’ is named after the Burgundian priest and mayor of Dijon – Felix Quir. At the beginning of the 20th century, he commanded to serve
at receptions a cocktail made from local products: blackcurrant cream liqueur and Aligote white wine. The success of the drink in France was phenomenal and still is. The luxury version of ‘Kir’ – Kir Royal (with champagne) – is also in great demand. Currently, the wine in the Kira recipe does not necessarily have to be Burgundian. And the blackcurrant itself can be replaced with blackberry, blueberry, raspberry or other liqueur.
