Cherry compote is a perfect summer drink, chill it in the fridge or add some ice cubes to the glass before drinking.

You can also add black currants, apples or other fruits and berries to the compote according to your taste.

Cherries contain vitamin C,  beta-carotene, vitamin P, B vitamins, potassium, iron, as well as fiber and pectin. Eating cherries improves sleep and has an antidepressant effect.

preparation

1. Boil water in a saucepan.
2. Add sugar and cherries to boiling water.
3. Boil the compote for 3 minutes.
4. Turn off the heat, cover with a lid and let it brew.
5. After the compote has cooled, place it in the refrigerator.

Cherry compote should be consumed cool.
