preparation1. Cut the meat into cubes, fry it in oil until golden. Add chopped onions and carrots, fry until the vegetables are soft. 2. Put the sliced potatoes in the pan with the already prepared meat and vegetables. Pour water (broth) and cook until the potatoes are ready. The broth can be cooked in advance: put the beef bones in a large pot, pour 3 liters of water, add a little salt, bay leaf and black pepper. 3. Put 60 g of washed pearl barley in a separate dish. Pour water over it and cook over medium heat until half done, about 25-30 minutes. 4. Cut the pickled cucumbers into strips, fry them a little in a pan with oil, add them to the soup together with tomato paste and pre-boiled pearl barley. Cook for another 15-20 minutes. 5. Serve the soup hot, adding sour cream and chopped greens to each portion. This soup is known for its rich taste and nutrition and can be served hot or cold in summer. |
