Directions

Hibiscus tea offers a delightful blend of tartness and floral notes, with a refreshing, slightly tangy taste. Rich in antioxidants and vitamin C, hibiscus tea is believed to support heart health, aid digestion, and promote overall well-being.

preparation

1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a teapot.
2. Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat and add the dried hibiscus flowers to the teapot. Stir gently to ensure the flowers are fully submerged.
3. Allow the hibiscus flowers to steep in the hot water for about 10-15 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea. The longer you steep, the stronger the flavor will be.
4. After the tea has steeped to your desired strength, strain it into a pitcher or heatproof container to remove the hibiscus flowers.
5. Add the fresh or frozen raspberries to the strained hibiscus tea while it's still warm. This will allow the raspberries to infuse their flavor into the tea as it cools.
6. If desired, add honey or sugar to sweeten the tea to your taste. Stir until the sweetener is fully dissolved.
7. Tea can be enjoyed warm (especially in cold weather) or allow the hibiscus tea with raspberries to cool to room temperature, then transfer it to the refrigerator to chill for at least an hour.
8. Once chilled, serve the hibiscus tea with raspberries over ice, garnished with lemon slices and mint leaves if desired.

Enjoy your refreshing and flavorful hibiscus tea with raspberries on a hot day or anytime you need a delicious pick-me-up!
