Ingredients

Directions

In this recipe, it is important to marinate the pork in advance so that they are saturated with the marinade, then the meat will be softer and tastier.

I serve basil sauce with this dish, it adds a fresh flavor to the roast pork.

I prepare basil sauce like this: I throw basil leaves (6-7) into a blender bowl, add 1 clove of garlic, 3-4 tablespoons of sour cream, add salt and beat until smooth.

Steps

1
Done

marinate the meat

Mix pineapple juice with all the spices, basil leaves, garlic and honey, mix, thoroughly coat the meat with marinade, put in the refrigerator overnight or at least for 2 hours.

2
Done

fry the meat

1. Remove the meat from the marinade. Set the marinade aside; we'll need it later.
2. On a well-heated frying pan add a little olive oil and fry the pork until golden brown on all sides.
3. Add the marinade to the pan with the meat, cover, and simmer over low heat until tender.
4. Then open the lid and cook over high heat, turning the meat constantly until the liquid evaporates.
5. The dish is ready when the marinade has reduced to a sauce-like consistency, and the meat is coated with a caramel-like, sticky, sweet sauce.
6. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and basil sauce.
Bon appétit!
