Preparing

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, egg, sugar, salt, wheat flour, and vanilla sugar.
2. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined to form a smooth dough-like consistency.
3. Take small portions of the cottage cheese mixture and roll them between your palms to form smooth balls. Ensure the balls are compact and hold their shape well. Repeat until all the mixture is used up, and you have formed all the cottage cheese balls.
4. Fill a saucepan or pot with water and bring it to a gentle boil over medium heat.
5. Carefully drop the cottage cheese balls into the boiling water, one by one. Make sure not to overcrowd the pot.
6. Allow the balls to cook in the boiling water for about 5-7 minutes or until they float to the surface.
7. Once the cottage cheese balls float to the surface, let them cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to ensure they are fully cooked through. Remove from heat.

Place the cottage cheese balls on a plate, add heavy cream, sprinkle fresh or frozen strawberries and powdered sugar on top.
